What I Wore: Olive Green and the Perfect Earrings

Have you ever come across a new website, whether it be for clothing, jewelry, whatever, and just fall in love? Like you can't get enough of it kind of love. Every day you are browsing item after item, imagining what it would look like in your closet or jewelry box, or in your home.

That's what it was like when I saw Max and Chloe, particularly their chandelier earrings. Hello, gorgeous jewelry! They have the best selection-everything from your trendy statement necklaces to your keepsake monogram pieces. Even better, they have a great selection of pieces under $50 for those that are on a budget (which should be me....but that discussion is for another day!).

I love a good statement necklace and definitely some arm candy, but for some reason, I was really drawn to these chandelier earrings: the Blue Bijoux Gold, White and Crystal Flower Earrings. I am not usually one to wear huge earrings like these, but whats not to love about them? Perfect for summer, and to dress up any outfit!

I don't know about you, but usually when I fall in love with a piece of jewelry, I immediately start pairing it with outfits in my closet. These were an exception- I had no clue what I would wear them with, but I loved them so much I had to have them. What I would wear them with was an afterthought. I just knew I wanted them added to my jewelry collection! (Have you ever done that?!?!)

No worries, though! After browsing in my closet, I chose the perfect outfit. I thought the earrings would be a great contrast with the light shade of the army/olive green shirt. I liked how they also they also brought out the detail of the gold buttons on my shirt too! (yes, these are the tiny details I think about!) Also, besides the shirt being really comfy, its totally casual, so the earrings give it a little bit more of a dressy vibe! Most of the time I wear chandelier earrings (or dangly, as I used to call them when I was little...hehehe) I don't really wear a necklace. I think the earrings are a statement enough by themselves, am I right?

Outfit Details:
Shirt: Target (in stores) /// Jeans: Gap /// Sandals: Target /// Earrings: c/o Max and Chloe earrings /// Clutch: Target (gifted) /// Bracelets: TargetStella and Dot

How great are they? They are the perfect compliment to my casual outfit! I also can't wait to dress them up! I have several showers/parties this summer where they can and will make an appearance- I will most definitely be pairing them with something similar to this:

Max and Chloe Earrings

Adorable, right? If you haven't checked out their chandelier earrings (and necklacesrings, and bracelets) yet you definitely should! You won't be disappointed! Plus, adding some accessories to your closet is the perfect, inexpensive way to spruce up your wardrobe!

**A special thanks to Tabitha (she writes over at Lifesong Mama). She is an old friend from college (amen to facebook for allowing us to reconnect!). She was kind enough to be my photographer for these pictures! It will definitely be worth your time to check her out- she has a way with words, is a super mom, and an amazing DIY-er. I've been very fortunate to be able to benefit from her effortless talent and passion of photography!! I am super excited to work with her!**

Have a great day, everyone! See you back here tomorrow!

  4. Another good thing in buying and wearing trendy beaded jewelry is you do not want to spend thousands of greenbacks to have people who will appreciate your look and your image. Fashionable beaded jewelry like necklaces, earrings and bracelets are available in wide variety of styles and designs. You'll only spend one or two dollars to few hundred bucks depending on the kind of materials you select for your jewelry.
