This time, it was at the grocery store. I stopped in for some chicken. No joke. I needed some chicken for dinner, and just happened to be cutting through the makeup aisle- I swear, I didn’t do it on purpose- and a little display caught my eye of all kinds of new e.l.f. products!
Well of course I stopped to check it out- the chicken could wait! I tossed some items into my basket and went on my way, super excited to give them all a try!
Once again, I couldn’t be more pleased with everything I purchased, not to mention the price is amazing!
Let’s start with the lip exfoliator!
I used this a couple of times already. I tried it before I got in the shower each time. It’s definitely not something you need to use everyday. Maybe some of you don’t even need it at all! Personally, my lips tend to get chapped, and I am constantly biting them. Yep, I am a lip biter! That doesn’t help the cause at all. So any chance I get to try something to help smooth my lips I will try! The combination of the exfoliant and the other ingredients: Vitamin E, Shea Butter, Avocado, Grape and Jojoba Oils makes your lips feel really great.
I love this duo, but I liked the plumper better than the primer! I will say, when you are applying the primer, a little goes a long way! Apply it gently and lightly. Otherwise, you will look like you belong in the early 2000’s when people thought it was cool to wear white lip gloss! The plumper feels soooo good! Tastes like cinnamon and gives your lips that good, plumping tingly feeling.
What else can I say about these lotion wipes other than they are amazing? I am pretty bad when it comes to applying lotion on a regular basis. Mainly because it takes too long. I just don’t want to take the time to do it. These lotion wipes are just about the best thing ever. So easy and quick to use, they smell super good, and it doesn’t leave a greasy feeling behind. I use about one or two wipes, depending on how much I want to moisturize. They also come in several different scents. I wish they made these for babies…how much easier would it be to apply lotion to an infant/toddler who doesn’t sit still for longer than two seconds??
I haven’t really be one to use bronzer before- pretty much every, actually. For some reason I felt compelled to give it a try. (some people are compelled to give back to the community, I am compelled to try bronzer) Maybe because it was only three bucks? Possibly. At any rate, I totally love it. I feel like it gives my whole look a polished glow. I just use a huge all over powder brush- nothing special- and blend all of the colors together. I feel great when I use it!
Is there anything you’ve purchased lately that you are absolutely loving, or have added to your beauty routine?
