Q & A Sesh and Friday Fab Faves

I think you all know how much I love posting about fashion and beauty. I don't divulge too much in my posts about me personally, so every once in a while its fun to share and take a breather from posting an outfit!

My blog bud Meagan (who I get to meet in just a few short weeks!!!) did a little question and answer session on her blog yesterday, and posed some questions for me..."tagged" me if you will. So here goes!!

If you could only shop one place for the rest of your life, where would it be?

Well geez. Does this include stuff for my family? If it has to include those kinds of purchases I would say Target I guess. I think its pretty obvious that I love their clothes and accessories. More often than not I will put together an outfit and realize its head to toe Target! Plus I'd be able to buy things for my girls. Is that a boring answer? Probably. But its the truth!

What makes a blog truly engaging and brings you back day after day?

I enjoy blogs that are real. Like the kinds of blogs that I can tell if I met them in real life they would talk exactly like they write. Plus I enjoy blogs that are affordable. It can be hard to find blogs that feature everyday, affordable pieces. They have got to keep me laughing, too! I have also found some blogs that every time I read their posts I say "hey, me too!" Those are quickly added to my daily reads!

If you became a multi millionaire overnight, what would you buy?

Ok the responsible answer would be to pay off all of our debt- cars, house, school loans. BOOORRRRRIIINNNGGG! My fun purchase? I don't think it would be just one big thing...I really think I would just go on like a one day shopping spree! And it probably wouldn't be some place outrageous....just a really good mall!

Where's the farthest away place you've been?

I am thinking either Mexico or Bermuda? I'm fortunate to have been lots of places but none super far away. Some day I will get to Europe! Oooooo maybe that's what I would buy if I became a multi millionaire!

If you could meet one person from history, who would it be?

James Dean. I have always had a little fascination with him. Something about him is just so mysterious! And he is pretty easy on the eyes. If you would let me meet two people, the other would be Amelia Earhart. Kind of nerdy, but those kind of people fascinate me!!

Do you believe in love at first sight?

No, I really don't. I believe in lust at first sight, which I think leads to love. I just think you really have to get to know a person before you can fall in love. Call me traditional, but I just don't believe it can happen in real life- only in the movies!

What do you do most when you are bored?

This is a super funny question, because I don't think I have the time to be bored! Hahahaha! On the rare occasion that I am bored I will take a nap ( I LOVE naps...love them!) or read. I absolutely love to read!!! Typically I read books that don't require a lot of thought, because its how I unwind!

Ok, now I am supposed to nominate some other lovely bloggers to answer my questions: Stilettos and Diaper BagsStyle ElixirSami's Shenanigans

Besides blogging, what is your favorite hobby?
It's Friday night...what are your plans?
What are a couple things on your bucket list that you have yet to cross off?
What's the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to you?
If you had the chance to have your dream closet, what is one thing that would be in it?

Have fun answering, ladies!!!

OK...now onto my fab faves! I only have two this week....trying to tame myself here!!

The first is the Map Necklace from Three Jane. To say I want is an understatement. I mean, I WANT this. How perfect is it??? You can put in a meaningful address- for me it would be the church where I was married- and they create this beautiful necklace! Your address or destination is engraved into a 14K gold plate, and then mark your location with a tiny diamond. You can also choose some that are pre-made with travel destinations, the hospital where your child was born, or even your alma mater. Seriously....I want!!!

Lastly, something super simple that I saw on Kate's blog the other day is this NP Set Countour and Highlighting Palette

NP Set Contour & Highlight Palette

I have never really been one for the whole contouring my face, or even highlighting it. Mainly because of time, and it can be all overwhelming. This palette makes it so simple for you, and I love that about it! It was only $19, which is not bad considering you get four different uses out of it! I definitely recommend it (like you need my recommendation after hearing Kate's)!

Anyway, hope you all have a great weekend! See you Monday!
