Even though I am late, I am SO excited that I have lost 10.4 pounds!! Yes- the .4 makes all the difference. It is almost a half pound, which is almost a pound. So technically it's almost 11 pounds, right? Just nod your head and agree, ok?
Something that I have noticed since I just barely passed the ten pound mark is that things are starting to fit a little better. To me, (and I have gained and lost enough times to vouch for this) it is always once I hit ten pounds that I really start to notice a difference, which really gets my motivation going. I think the first 10 and the last 5 are the hardest to lose, in my opinion!
A perfect example is my pants I wore in yesterday's post . While although they are still maybe a tiny bit snug, they fit a whole heck of a lot better than they used to, and I am loving it!
One thing that I struggled with this past week, and something that I chatted with my sponsor about was getting in my snacks- mainly my morning ones. I know, its pretty crazy because I typically plan my whole life around what I eat (which is kind of why I got to this point, I guess!). Starting a new schedule, getting the girls out the door on time, getting myself out the door on time, I just forget or don't give myself enough time to pack my snacks. I know, that is really no excuse!
But, my sponsor gave me some super quick and easy snack ideas that I could easily whip up and take to the store with me:
Hard boiled egg
Crackers (triscuits, wheat thins)

Peanut butter sandwich
Grilled cheese sandwich
Cheese and crackers
Apple and peanut butter
Ham and cheese sandwich
Personally, I could live on the apple and peanut butter like it's nobody' business. One of my all time favorite snacks! Grapes and a cheese stick is also a go-to of mine. And believe me, a cup of grapes is A LOT more than you would imagine! It is such a huge serving and is really filling.
