How to Wear: Denim Skirt

Denim skirts are another thing that I thought I would honestly never see again, yet here we are! I don't hate them, but they aren't my first item of choice when shopping or doing styling sessions for someone. I feel like they are a love it or hate it kind of thing.

When done correctly though, they can be super cute. For me, I think the more distressed skirts look better, but that's just me. My biggest concern with getting one, was how often I would wear it. By now, you all know that I like a little versatility, so trying to determine how they could be worn and styled was on my mind!

So, in true Mommy in Heels fashion, I came up with a few different ways to wear a denim skirt. I tried to create some sort of variety, for both casual and a little dressier. It seems like now-a-days (does that make me sound old??) a lot of offices keep things pretty casual, so maybe you would be lucky enough to be able to wear something like a denim skirt to work (maybe one not so distressed).

I love how versatile a denim skirt can really be. I think it can also be paired with a really nice blouse, a blazer, and some heels too for a more polished look!

Paired with a pair of Birkenstocks, oversized tee and kimono, this would be a great summer festival look too.

How would you wear a denim skirt??
