Singin' in the Rain

Happy Wednesday! I was MIA on Monday, like 100%. I even took a nap during the day, like in my bed, which I usually don't do! (jk I nap just usually on the couch). I was in NYC on Sunday for a few fashion week events with RewardStyle, Mode Media, and was able to get my hair and makeup done courtesy of Tresemme and Caravan Stylist Studio. It was a whirlwind day which left me exhausted and not home until after midnight, hence no post on Monday!

Anyway, I may be weird, but I really do enjoy rain. Several days of it can be a bit rough, but for some reason I love it. I always have! With that said though, particularly in the warmer months, I despise wearing sandals when it's raining. I don't like the wet feet feeling. Ugh!

This past Saturday was a rainy one. All.day.long. I figured it would be a good time to break in my new loafers from Target. I had been kind of looking for a pair, kind of not. When I saw this I loved them, because they are a little more 'pointier toed' than most loafers, which I like. For some odd reason, when I feel like my feet look short and stubby, it makes me feel short and stubby. Odd? Maybe.

Outfit Details:
Jacket: Old Navy /// Shirt: T+J Designs via Elizabeth & West /// Skirt: Old Navy(cute option) /// Shoes: Target /// Umbrella: Target /// Hat: Target

And because the musical theater nerd in me always comes out when I am using this umbrella, I couldn't resist....

And also because I love the sequence of doing this little jig...

  1. You. Are. Awesome. I saw these shoes in Target and tried them on and then for some reason put them back. Now WHY did I do that? Ugh.

  2. I am in love with this outfit! And the fact that you actually did the heel click for a photo, so awesome!
