Easy Fall Style

There are a lot of trends that are popping up this fall season, while there are others that have stuck around for several seasons with no sign of going anywhere (yay!)

Here are a few things to grab for your fall wardrobe!

Poncho: I remember ponchos (or a variation) of ponchos being popular in the early 2000's. I had a few that I wore a good bit- they weren't so much to keep me warm, but more to be an accessory. No worries, the early millennium style isn't back- well a different version is. I prefer ponchos because they are a cute alternative to a jacket and I don't have to worry about sucking it in. HA! But really, they do look super cute worn with skinny jeans, jeggings, or even bell bottom/flares. I also love to belt them just to give myself a little bit of a shape!

Ankle Booties: I chatted about these the other week and how awesome they are. While I love all the colors I am seeing (deep greens, burgundys, etc) I tend to stick to neutrals when it comes to booties, mainly because they go with more and I get ore wear out of them. I am telling you, if you invest in one expensive thing this season let it be these! You will wear them for the next couple of seasons and get tons of wear out of them! I wear mine with jeans, leggings, dresses, skirts, you name it! The neutral sand/taupe colors is the best, in my opinion!

Floppy hat: The floppy hat is the cold weather version of the panama hat and the fedora. I wear them quite a bit, mainly for style and not so much to keep me warmer. I also love them not just because they give me an extra day in between hair washes, but they add a little bit of interest to my look without being too over the top. Simple colors are best, like browns and blacks! They can be found most places and at pretty inexpensive prices, too. I hear a lot of women say they 'don't have a head/face for a hat' but just give them a try. They look better on just about everybody!

Utility Jacket: I know I am repeating myself as I posted about this the other week, but I can't talk about it enough! So versatile, so comfortable, and I promise you will get so much wear out of it year round!!
