Oversize Sweater Style

Another sweater to add to my ever growing closet (at an affordable price) is something that I can't pass up...in more than one color, too!

A chunky knit sweater like this one, is one that can be quite versatile. Toss it on as a lightweight jacket on not so cold days, or layer it as an actual sweater (and not a jacket) on those super frigid fall/winter days.

I opted to wear this just as a little jacket, which in hindsight was a bad decision! I had no clue how cold it was when I tossed it on before heading out the door for church! It got the job done, and was definitely more of an accessory than a functional jacket, but at least it looked cute, right?

I also decided to break out my Louis Vuitton, which I don't do too often. You see, it's pretty special to me, because it is something that I saved for-definitely a splurge. I would love it if I didn't have to think twice about spending several hundred dollars on something, but that is simply not the case! I think it was about 6 years ago that I decided I wanted one, so I started saving my change (I learned that from my Mom-she used to pay for my prom dresses by saving change). Any chance I had to round up some change, I did. It took me a looooong time, but I added my change to some Christmas and birthday (my birthday is not long after Christmas) money I got, and was finally able to treat myself when my husband and I were on a trip to Vegas! Because this was something that I saved for, I cherish it so much more and take such good care of it!
