Winter White

As much as "they" say that you can't wear white after Labor Day, I sure do see a lot of white! I for one think you can wear white year round. There is something about winter whites that I find so classic, and soft.

I had always wanted some sort of "winter white" coat, but never actually got one because....well because I have children. Children and anything white just don't really mesh well together. But Charlotte is now three, and Ella is seven, so I figured I would be pretty safe with white. Let's hope!!

I saw this jacket on Old Navy's website a couple of months ago, and of course loved the white. But also loved the burgundy and black too. I was drawn towards black, because it goes with so much (and hides the dirt of children). I didn't want to spend the money on something that I would be too nervous to wear for fear of getting it dirty!

Last Friday though I stopped by Old Navy and their jackets were $20. Yes, $20! I couldn't not get it in white! For only $20, I thought why not?!?!

So glad I got it- I have already worn it several times in the week that I have had it. I also think the funnel neck cut of the jacket gives it a really polished, classic look that instantly pulls together any look from a dress to jeans and a tee.

  1. I LOVE winter white! I'm wearing a pair of winter white pants today, in fact and I think it's really an underrated color. Love that coat and yes, the funnel neck makes it look very polished.
