NYE Sequin

As much as I love to get dolled up, I would choose staying in and comfy on the couch over going out. This NYE, I wanted to stay in with our girls, stay in our pj's and binge on tv and food. My husband had other plans, though!

He convinced me that we should go out with our friends-it would be so fun! I couldn't argue with him on that one- we always have a great time, plus any excuse to get dressed up is great!

You all know how much I love shopping, but this year I opted to not purchase anything new for my NYE look. I knew that I would wear my sequin blazer I wore last year for our NYE outing. I dressed it down a bit last year with jeans and a graphic tee, so I knew I wanted to dress it up a bit more. I have had this black jumpsuit from Forever 21 for just about two years now, and have gotten so much wear out of it. I must say, it was kind of refreshing to reach for items in my closet as opposed to stressing over what to buy!

Another bonus was having my friend Maggie do my makeup! When your friend, who is the best professional makeup artist there is offers to do your makeup you say YES!! She has a knack for what is going to look good on you, that's for sure! I loooved how my makeup turned out!
