Weekly Series: OOTD Roundup

Another week, another post sharing my weekly outfits that don't make it to the blog! I have to say my blue Loft sweater was a hit this week, as was my Elizabeth & West sweater. I loved them both, and they were totally cozy!

I hope you've been enjoying these weekly roundups-I enjoy documenting them and sharing them with you all!

Hope you all have a great weekend...I'm headed back home for a family Christmas party!

The Merriest of Sweaters

There was just something about this sweater that I absolutely fell in love with. It was one of those online purchases that you really hope works out when it arrives.

Not only was the red color just so rich, but I loved the detail and the fact that it cropped! I dressed it up last week one day for work, and decided to take it for a more casual spin on Sunday for church and our usual Sunday errands.

It's really low in stock, so I made sure to find other gorgeously red sweaters for you to check out!

Navy + Mustard

There's something about navy and mustard together that I love...I think they just go together so well! When I got this sweater, I was trying to think of how to style it. I knew jeans and booties but wanted to add a little more to it-the navy jacket was the perfect finishing touch!

Navy can be tough sometimes because it can give off a black vibe in certain light, but I loved just how navy this jacket looked against the mustard.

I wore this last weekend when Ryan and I were away at Bedford Springs. I ended up wearing it for the car ride home, and it was surprisingly comfortable! I typically like to travel in super comfy clothes so I was hesitant about having to sit in the car for several hours, but the sweater (and even the jeans) were perfect!

Holiday Gift Guide: For Her

This gift guide is always a fun one for me to curate because I love to pick things that I know I would love (duh) and that my girlfriends would love! I tried to include all kinds of different price points so you should have a bunch of different options for all of the gals in your life! Happy shopping!'

GLAMboard: I have this and absolutely love it. It's perfect for countertop storage and even better when you don't have a ton of storage space.

Felt Letter Board: Something like this would be such a cute housewarming gift. I know lots of gals who would love something like this...it's the perfect gift!

Anastasia Sundipped Glow Kit: Got a beauty junkie in your life? This is perfect! Palettes are easy because depending on what they are, they can be an all in one gift. Pair it with a makeup brush set and you have a complete gift!

Apple Watch: This is quite the expensive gift, but one that would be loved for sure. I for one would love an Apple Watch. The price tag scares me a bit and is something I personally would never just buy for myself so asking for it for Christmas is the perfect alternative!

Jo Malone Cologne: I have heard great things about these scents, plus you can't go wrong with a little perfume for a gift!

Blair Ritchey Tote: If you follow my blog, you know I am quite the fan of Blair Ritchey Handbags, and I always include some of her items in my gift guide because they make the perfect gift. Such great quality, investment pieces that you will use season after season!

Robyn Rhodes Mien Necklace: All of her pieces are amazing, but this particular one is a favorite of mine because it's a classic neutral and handmade in the USA!

Belle Beauty Kisser Fixer: I have this in both the True Nude and the Berry Nude and love both! The color lasts and I love how you have the option of wearing it matte or with gloss!

Himalayan Salt Foot Care Set: I could really use something like this, and I know a lot of gals who could use it too! I love that it's a whole set-makes such a sweet gift!

French Press: I know absolutely nothing about coffee, but I do know this would make a great gift for a girlfriend or even a hostess gift! Affordable but chic enough to leave out on the counter!

Vans Sneakers: My slip on Vans are a go-to for me. I love the neutral sparkle of these-perfect for everyday wear!

Ugg Slippers: Pricey, but from what I hear, totally worth it. I have the knock off Target version and they don't hold up nearly as good as the Ugg ones do. Totally worth the price tag to be able to wear them year after year.

Blair Ritchey Petite Origami Envelope: Again, another item that is so adorable and functional. A cute little addition to any handbag!

Marble Floral Watch: Ok, I love this watch. I think it's so adorable, and it comes in several different colors.

Cozy Weekend Wear + Little Life Lessons

Hope you all had a great weekend! If you follow me on instagram, you saw that Ryan surprised me with a little weekend away to Bedford Springs. If you have never been, I highly recommend it. It was our first time there (which is hard to believe), but it certainly won't be our last. Our anniversary is in April, and we are already planning a long weekend there. It was magical at Christmas but I would love to see it in the spring!

While we don't get away just the two of us as much as we would like to (hellooooo kids and budgets!), we do try to every once in a while. Our marriage isn't perfect but one thing we have learned over our 12 1/2 years of marriage, and one thing we have gotten pretty good at, is knowing how important it is to make time for each other. We explained to the girls that we hope one day they end up with someone who treats them the way Ryan treats me, and also how important it is to spend time together without kids. We reminded them that before being Mommy and Daddy we were husband and wife (or as Charlotte says, "ewww were you boyfriend and girlfriend?!" LOL!) and that it's important to make time for each other. I am sure it fell on deaf ears being that they are so young, but you've got to toss in those little life lessons when you can!

Now onto the outfit! I wore this when we were home for Thanksgiving. It was perfectly cozy, and not the first time (or the last) that I wore the cardigan. I've worn this out and about, but also lounging at home. I'd say it's the perfect wear-all-the-time caridgan. While I am wearing a large and love it, I would say it's probably safe to size down!

Holiday Gift Guide: For Him

Anyone else have a hard time shopping for the guy in their life? Ryan and I have been together for 17 years (yikes!) and I still have trouble shopping for him for Christmas/birthday. We haven't really exchanged gifts much over the last few years for Christmas but I think this year we might actually get each other something!

With him in mind (hey, Ry!) and just guys in general, I curated what I like to think is a pretty great gift guide for guys! All of the images are clickable-happy shopping!

The Craft Beer Club: This would be perfect for those in your life that have a thing for craft beer, beer that isn't your typical, get from a tap beer. With this, you are sent a selection of craft beers from around the country, each month. It's the gift that keep son giving!

Beard King Beard Bib: How many of you need this in your bathroom! While Ryan and I each have our own sinks, its always a pain when it's time to clean the bathroom. Those beard trimmings end up everywhere. This would be amazing!!

Bluetooth Speaker: What guy wouldn't want a bluetooth speaker? This is portable, has a 12 hour battery life and is water resistant. While it's a great gift for the guy in your life it could easily be a great gift for the whole family.

Samsonite Golf Trunk Organizer: If your husband is anything like mine, he keeps his golf clubs and shoes in his car at all times. Something like this is a great addition to your guy's trunk because it holds everything from a golf outfit, shoes, and any other accessories.

Ray Ban Aviators: Classic, timeless, good quality. These sunglasses are an investment but they are definitely something that will last for years.

NorthFace Jacket: My husband has this and wears it all the time. I even steal it from him sometimes because it's so comfortable! What I like about it (and my husband will attest to this as well) is that it is so lightweight but still keeps you warm!

NorthFace Tech Gloves: These have special touchscreen fingertips which make it easy to still navigate your phone while wearing them. Can't go wrong with NorthFace gloves, right?!

Wireless Beats Headphones: I feel like this gift is a no brainer. These are to be great quality, and you can even take phonecalls on these particular headphones!

Bluetooth Droplet Speaker: Another speaker, I know! But this is waterproof so it can be used in the pool or in the shower and connects to your phone or any other music device!

What Do You Meme: We are always looking for new games to play when we have friends over, and this one looks like such a riot, one that would leave us all in tears from laughing so hard!

My State Wall Bottle Opener: We have a cheap bottle opener in our kitchen, so upgrading to something cool like this would be welcomed by Ryan, I am sure. I love being able to personalize it with your home state, too!

Nike Air Huarache Run Ultra Sneaker: Classic, simple, good quality. These are the types of sneakers that could easily take him from the gym to out and about. Plus, the gray color would go with so much!

Under Armour Phone Case: This is something that I know Ryan would probably never buy for himself, so something like this would be a perfect stocking stuffer!

Hard Cider Making Kit: Ryan and I love hard cider. This would be kind of cool to try, and it honestly seems somewhat easy!

Night Runner Headlights: Have an avid runner in your life? These would be perfect for them to clip to their shoelaces for their nighttime runs-gotta keep them safe!

Lady in Red + Cyber Monday

Hope you all had a great weekend! It was pretty crazy for me with Black Friday and Small Business Saturday. It was exhausting but so great! Small Business Saturday is always the busiest day of the year for me-amazing to see so many people supporting local businesses. Hopefully you all did, too, wherever you live! I made sure to have some great new arrivals today for Cyber Monday AND I am offering 15% off and free shipping!

Now onto my outfit! I as home visiting my parents for a couple of days last week and it was so nice. My little Thanksgiving break is never long enough, but I am grateful for the two days I do get. I wore this when we were out and about visiting family! I have this jacket in black and am waiting for the navy to arrive in the mail. I am usually not one to purchase so many jackets but I desperately needed to update them-most of what I had didn't fit or were just worn out!

As far as Cyber Monday goes, follow along on facebook and instagram as I will be sharing my finds and purchases throughout the day!

Holiday Gift Guide: Gifts Under $25

It's Holiday Gift Guide season-are you excited or are you excited? I promise to not go overboard with gift guides. It's not really my thing to turn my blog into gift guide after gift guide, but I do like to share some great finds with you all and be of any help I can be!

Take a look at my finds, and click on any of the images to shop them directly!

Tassel Earrings: These are just fun, adorable earrings that would make such a cute gift. If you have a gal in your life that loves to jazz up her looks with fun pieces, these are perfect!

Stud Earrings: You really can't go wrong with simple, classic earrings like these. These are a great idea for women who like to wear simple, everyday wear earrings. They come in multiple colors, too!

Travel Jewelry Case: If you wanted to spend a little more than $25 you could grab this travel case to go with the earrings, although it would make a sweet gift by itself It's currently on sale (for under $25) and is super on trend with the velvet.

Bartending Glasses: I love this idea-it's a great hostess gift or even for a cocktail lover in your life! These glasses take the guesswork out of crafting the perfect cocktails!

Pave Ear Cuff: I have this and absolutely love it! It's super chic and is great for all gals because you obviously don't have to have your ears pierced to wear it!

beautyblender: Again, another item I have and love. It works so well, lasts (if you keep it clean), and is perfect for any gal who is a sucker for makeup!

Accent Doormat: Not a traditional gift, but again, could be another cute hostess gift or a gift for a first time homeowner.

L'Occitane Hand Cream Set: These hand creams are the best and work so well. Buy the set and gift individually (could be cute stocking stuffers) or just give the set....either way, the person who gets these are lucky!

Beeswax Reusable Sandwich Wrap: I have not personally used this but I have seen it used and it is pretty amazing. Handmade from cotton and infused with beeswax, jojoba oil and tree resin, it creates a moisture resistant seal around your food and can be used over and over. I think this is such a unique gift!

Champagne Cupcake Baking Kit: Got a champagne lover in in your life? This gift puts a little spin on gift giving. Rather than just gifting a bottle of their favorite champagne, maybe add in this little gift set, or better yet, give it to them and make a fun girls night baking them and eating them together!

Tassel Charger Keychain: What person would not want something like this? With everyone being so glued to their devices, this is some handy and chic to always have on you! And it's totally affordable!

Trinket Dish: I don't know what it is about a trinket dish, but I need all of them. I think they are so adorable, and a great "filler" for around the house. I do think they are truly good catch alls for random things!

Rose Salve Lip Balm: This stuff is the balm (see what I did there?!). I not only love the smell, but it works so well too. I have used their Rose Salve before and it has done wonders. I can't recommend their products enough!

Makeup Brush and Bag Set: You really can't go wrong with a new makeup brush set. I always get so excited when I get new makeup brushes...you really can't beat the feeling of apply makeup with fresh brushes that are so adorable!

Glitter Bomb Water Bottle: Is it just me or does water taste better out of a cute water bottle? Grab this for an easy holiday gift, or better yet, fill it with a variety of flavored water mixes in their go-to flavor to make it a little bit more personal!

Two Tone Pompom Beanie: This hat is so adorable and is one that would definitely get a lot of wear. Find another inexpensive scarf to pair with it and you have the cutest gift set!

Contrast Plaid Scarf: I love this scarf! I may even classify this as a gift I'd buy with the intentions of giving it to someone else but then keeping for me! (I know I am not alone in this, right?!?!).

Makeup Brush Cleaning Pad: I am pretty sure I had this on my gift guide last year, but it's worth of making another appearance! Makes cleaning your brushes so easy!

Wine Wipes: I mean, who wouldn't need these?!?! Well, I may not because I am more of a moscato drinker but I know a ton of gals (and guys) who could use these and love them! Again, another great hostess gifts, or things to have on hand at home!

Oversized, Cozy Cardigan

I've honestly lost count of how many times I have worn this cardigan since I bought it. It is so comfortable and I love the color of it! Despite it being just a tad too big (hindsight, I should have sized down), it has gotten a lot of wear! I wear it a lot around the house, because it just has  a cozy vibe to it, but it gets just as much wear out and about.

We are gearing up for a busy week with Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Small Business Saturday, so I have been outfit planning just to make packing a little easier. This cardigan will for sure be tossed into my suitcase. I plan on dressing it down with a graphic tee and some cute kicks! So versatile!
