My husband and I had a night out with friends this weekend to celebrate our friend's birthday! The attire was kind of business casual. I knew I didn't want to wear pants- we were eating at a place where the food is known to be amazing, so I didn't want to have to fuss with a waistband all night! LOL!
I can be wary of babydoll dresses, because I feel like they can make me look pregnant. Something about this one though made me fall in love!
I will say I am not a huge fan of slits in sleeves, but I just loved the overall look and style of this dress that that detail didn't bother me too much. I knew this would be a super comfortable dress that would last me the whole night!
Pairing it with these (sort of) OTK boots was a great decision. It was warm for February, but still chilly. I was able to get away with not wearing any tights- amen!
This foldover clutch worked perfectly for me. While we were out to dinner I removed the strap and carried it as a clutch. After dinner we were headed out to some bars so I brought the strap to put back on-I didn't want to have to fuss with holding it!
But at the bars-talk about feeling OLD. My girlfriends and I were just people watching and cringing at the fact that we were probably exactly like these people when we were younger. There was one girl there in her bare feet. Her bare feet! GROSS! My girlfriend pointed out that we most likely did something like that when we were in college- sadly, she is probably right....so.gross. Needless to say, it was a good time, though! We didn't get home until close to three in the morning! Let's just say I am still feeling a bit tired from it! I can't hang like I used to!
