Feels good to be back to the blogging world! Although it was nice to take a breather and enjoy our new daughter Charlotte and our new family of four, it does feel good to get back into the swing of things!
This post is about something I absolutely love…leopard print! I think some people steer clear of leopard because they think it can be overwhelming for a look, or because, if not worn correctly can kind of look a little awful….maybe a little unprofessional?
Good news though!!! There are SO many ways leopard can be worn by everyone! Even those who aren’t so sure about it!
Check out the different ways to incorporate leopard print into any look, whether or not you love a lot or a little…
All the details here
~I love the A-line dress…its so adorable and can be dressed up or down. If its too much, the leopard can be toned down by throwing on a simple black cardigan or (my choice) a leather jacket.
~ Whats awesome about the cardigan is its versatility! Wear with jeans, black pants, a pencil skirt, or over a dress for work.
~These gorgeous Tory Burch flats don’t need much of an introduction. They are just gorgeous. Ideal if you want just a touch!
Scarf, shirt, and shoes details here
~Another subtle way to incorporate the print is with a scarf!
~I love this tank so much! I even posted about how I wear it….check out the post right here
~Also…these shoes. So inexpensive and so comfy! Like the tank, I wrote a little post on how I wear these…read it here
When all else fails…accessorize. Seriously though, if you are really terrified of wearing a bold print like this, just try something as small as a pair of earrings or a cute bangle. My favorite is the La Mer watch…how gorgeous is that? Check out the accessory details here
Typically, people just tend to pair leopard with solid black. That is perfect and there is nothing wrong with it. In fact, I think its a classic look, but it also looks awesome with other colors and even other prints! I particulary love pairing leopard with stripes.
Gold (light colored)
If you aren’t so sure about wearing such a loud print, consider some of the options I gave you…start small with an accessory and slowly add in more. You’ll be rocking it in no time!!!
