Birthday Suit (and a giveaway)

Happy Monday, everyone!

Hope you all had a great weekend! This past Friday was my 32nd birthday! I was lucky to be able to celebrate with my husband and some of our good friends. My daughter and my husband made me a cake and iced it in my two favorite colors- I couldn’t have loved it more! I got the sweetest gifts too (including a refurbished “big girl” camera!)- definitely felt the love!

(Perfect picture? Not at all. Hysterical? Totally. And I wouldn’t have it any other way!)

As much as I loved spending the afternoon with my girls and my husband after Ella got home from school, I was super excited to head out for the evening to celebrate without the girls. I thought it was just going to be my husband and me, but he surprised me and two of our best friends (Charlotte’s godparents) joined us!

I couldn’t wait to rock my romper and leopard heels and actually take my time eating a meal while it is still warm (other parents know what a luxury that is!) and drink some wine!! Plus, heading out without the girls is always (to me) the perfect reason to go all out with my makeup and just my overall head to toe look!

Outfit Details:

Romper:   /// Heels: LC Lauren Conrad for Kohl’s /// Cardigan: Forever 21 /// Hat: Old Navy /// Necklace: c/o Charming Charlie /// Bag: c/o Blair Ritchey /// Bracelets: Initial and Birthstone bracelet: (gifted) Alex and Ani, (gifted) Brin and BellStella and Dot

I have had this hat for the longest time and this was literally the first time I wore it. For some reason, I could never find the right outfit to wear it with, so in my closet it hung! Although this romper is so comfy (it definitely makes the cut for my Mexico trip in a week!), it is not wind friendly! Hahaha! If the wind blew a certain way it totally puffs up and adds major poundage! Totally comfy though (yay for the elastic waist), definitely versatile- I am already planning several other outfits with it- and of course stylish!

I am really starting to think that a classic black romper is something that every woman should have in her wardrobe!

Hope you all had as just a wonderful weekend as I did celebrating another year of life!

Last but not least, I am joining some fabulous ladies for an amazing giveaway! Best of luck to all of you….

Take it away, Ashley!!

Here is your Happy Monday session and an awesome way to start your week… I’m teaming up with these fabulous ladies below to GIVE AWAY a $100 Nordstrom gift card (always free shipping and free returns if you do not have one near you), the “Annabelle” Spoon Ring from Premier Designs (seen here, here, here, and here {I obviously love this ring}) and a 16oz.
