Date Night Cut Offs

My girls are lucky in that they have two sets of grandparents that love them so much. Always involved, always dropping everything to be with them!

This past weekend, my parents picked our girls up and took them home with them Thursday night. I joined them Saturday evening after work, so that gave my husband and I a couple of nights to just enjoy each other’s company!

Friday night after work we headed out to a great, new, local restaurant in York, Tutoni’s. For those of you in the area, you’ve got to check it out. Farm to table, fresh Italian. It’s BYOB, which makes it even better! The food was delicious, the service great! After dinner we headed to the movies to see Sex Tape, which was absolutely hysterical!

I recently just started to wear shorts within the last couple of months. I used to hate wearing shorts because of my legs. I have cellulite. Dimples. Whatever you want to call them. I have always had cellulite. At my skinniest, at my heaviest. Call me lucky, I know. But I never liked to wear shorts because of it. But something changed in me, I don’t know what it was, and it got to the point where I just said f*** it, I don’t care!

Let me tell you- it has changed my whole point of view as to what I wear and how I style my outfits! With that said, I have been on the hunt for a new pair of cut off shorts. Those, my friends, are hard to find. Mainly because it seems most of them are meant for my daughters’ babysitter, who is 17 and has pretty much the best body ever. Believe it or not though, I found a great pair at American Eagle. Of all places, American Eagle! They are distressed, but not too distressed for a thirty something Mommy!

I loved pairing them with my new favorite heels  (that I scored for super, super cheap at Bon Ton. Unfortunately, they are no where to be found online) and my trusty blazer to mix up my date night look.

You look great! I have always had the same issue and this year I am finally wearing shorts. I snagged a couple of the old navy boyfriend shorts and love them!! If people don't like how my legs look, don't look at them! :)Kristin

You look so cute!! I love everything about this outfit. Unfortunately, I have muscular thighs plus cellulite and have always hated wearing shots! Over the past couple years I have said F it as well and I'm having a lot more fun getting dressed in the summer. 🙂
