I shared with you guys yesterday how much I love my new shorts. They are a good length for a thirty something Mommy (with cellulite, right?!) When I packed for my weekend home, I literally planned every outfit around these shorts. It was just easier to pack that way, plus they are pretty versatile so I knew I could get a lot of wear out of them. I had planned on wearing them pretty casually all weekend! Pairing it with one of my kimono’s was a no brainer. I have been so drawn to them lately! I rounded up some pretty cute ones for you since the one I am wearing is no longer available. You get the idea though! And yes, you guessed it, I will be styling these shorts four ways later this week, so check back!
Like I said, I wore these this weekend when visiting my family. With your blog, you typically get into a routine as far as schedules, when you take pictures, where you take pictures, who takes your pictures. There are typically two people that I am comfortable with behind the camera- my friend Tabitha, and my husband! So when we were ready to roll out Sunday night, I asked my parents: “who is going to be brave and take my blog pics tonight?” My mom quickly declined as she cuts peoples’ heads off a lot (I have headless prom pictures to prove it). My dad graciously said he would do it!
I started to go over with him my expectations, how I can be demanding, what kinds of pictures I prefer. “Beck, Beck, Beck, I read your blog every day, I know what kind of pictures you like!” Touche’, Dad!
He did such a great job taking my pictures, needed very little direction and at one point even said “how about we get a picture of your shoes, people are always commenting on your shoes.” Perfect!!!
It feels so great to have my family so involved in my blog! I am certainly lucky with all of the support!
