Well this past week was busy, fun, stressful, exhausting, and fun again all wrapped into one! York City Boutique Week was a whirlwind, but it was awesome! I can’t thank my family and friends enough for all of the support and help!!
The week started out with a fashion luncheon where we all (the boutique owners) chatted about fall trends that you can expect to see. It was sold out (awesome!), and despite being insanely hot it was a great time! Blair Ritchey also attended with me to give her take on fall trends as well….she also stuck around for her trunk show the next night!

Wednesday night was the Fashion Happy Hour- Beaver Street (the street my boutique is on) was shut down and food trucks were brought in for the night. All of the stores had the Beer Ace there sampling a variety of beer. There was also live music and live mannequins in all of the windows! It was such a well attended night for everyone! In my store, I held a Blair Ritchey Handbags trunk show. It was great to have her there not only to catch up (for those of you that don’t know- Blair and I went to college together…so it’s been over ten years now that we’ve known each other….yikes!) but to showcase her talent as well. She personally designs all of her bag and makes them by hand- it was great to finally be able to have my customers meet her and see all of her products in person!
The coverage of the evening was really great- it feels so awesome to have the local press be so supportive of everyone!

Thursday night was Violet & Burke’s trunk show. Again, so much fun having Tabitha showcasing her new fall collection! New leggings for the kiddo’s, infinity scarves, headbands and turbans and her new Free to Live shirts (more info on that later this week)…love them all!
Friday was the fashion show which was the big, culminating event of the week! With 150 tickets available, we sold out! Sold out!!! How amazing is that? My models were absolutely AMAZING!! Couldn’t have asked for better ladies to represent my brand! Not to mention, Charlotte was in it, which made it even better. Despite the heat, it was pretty awesome!!

Even cuter, we have Charlotte’s runway walk on video…I can’t even deal with the cuteness!
Really, the week was absolutely amazing! I loved every minute of it, even if it was SO exhausting!!! And last, but certainly not least, congratulations to Valerie Peterson! You are the winner of the Elizabeth & West swag bag!!! Be on the lookout for an email soon!!!
See you back here later this week for a recap of my awesome Neutrogena products I’ve been using lately, what I’ve been wearing out and about, and a non profit cause that is near and dear to my heart!
