Casual Stripes

I love a good tunic, mainly because it covers my rear, which I am not going to object to! Pairing a tunic with something like a pair of leggings, skinny jeans, or jeggings is usually how I like to style them.

One simple way to get more wear out of your tunics is to tuck them in. If you can manage to do so without creating bulk underneath your pants then it can look really great!

This striped tunic from Old Navy was a great addition to my closet (I even got it in another color). While I love wearing a tunic as it’s intended, I wanted to wear it now, and not have to wait until the temps cool a little!

I was headed out to dinner with friends so I knew I would be styling it pretty casually- we aren’t super formal, so distressed shorts and my Converse with the perfect to pair with it. My absolute favorite part of the whole outfit though is the belt (which is now only $20! No code needed)! I think it adds the perfect finishing touch! There is something about mixing brown and black together that I just love- I never would have done that several years ago, but it has grown on me so much!
