Weekend Wear

Hope you all had a great weekend! This was literally the first weekend since the beginning of December that we had zero plans, and it was glorious. I worked, we hung out with friends, we went to church….it was so nice!

We ended up having a last minute Super Bowl gathering. Literally last minute. We ran into friends at the grocery store and invited them over-luckily we were able to toss some more things in our cart (which was no biggies because we shop at Aldi’s. If you don’t grocery shop there you are so missing out…it’s the best!)

I always enjoy watching the Super Bowl for the commercials (and the half time show- Gaga killed it!). When I was a teacher (I used to teach high school business), I always had my Marketing and Advanced Marketing classes watch the Super Bowl commercials the day after and critique them. A fun (and easy for me) lesson! I miss those days sometimes!

Anyway, nothing much to say about this outfit other than it’s such an easy look to toss together! I wore this yesterday for our usual Sunday routine of church and errands! I’ve worn these jeans so much recently-the length is perfect and they have a great stretch to them that makes them so comfortable!

They are the type of jeans I don’t mind lounging in around the house-they are that comfortable! I will say, if you don’t have a pair of red flats, get yourself a pair! I had originally reached for my black lace up ballet flats, but grabbed these at the last minute. I love them so much better!

Mine are pretty old, but I found a couple of other cute options for you!
