Every Gal Needs a Swing Dress

Hope you all had a great weekend! We spent the weekend working (me), golfing (Ryan) and spending time with friends! We all thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful weather we had on Saturday. Sadly, yesterday the temp was over 40 degrees less than it was on Saturday-total bummer, right?

We started the weekend by taking the girls to get their ears pierced. Well, Ella has had hers pierced since she was a little over a year old but she wanted a second piercing in just her one ear. Charlotte has been bugging us for months to get it done, so we finally agreed!

It was super hot on Friday as well, so I knew this swing dress would be perfect for our Friday night out. I love swing dresses because they are super easy and breezy, not to mention comfortable. Swing dresses can also be pretty easy to dress up and down as well. I love that I can wear them with something like a pair of Converse, but then toss on a pair of wedges and it’s instantly dressed up!

Outfit Details:

Jacket: Old Navy /// Dress: Loft /// Shoes: Converse /// Hat: Nordstrom /// Sunglasses: Ray Ban via Macy’s

As promised, I styled this swing dress with the workplace in mind. Maybe you have a casual atmosphere at work and can get away with wearing it dressed down like me, but if not, rest assured I found a few pieces that you can wear with it to make it a little more work appropriate! You can click directly on the collage to shop the items!

What’s your favorite method for defeating the dreaded “chub rub”? I’d been eyeing that dress but chafing is the woooooooooorst. Thank you!
