Hope you all had a great weekend! We celebrated Ella’s birthday on Saturday-I can’t even believe she turned 10! So weird to think that I am a Mom of a 10 year old! It was such a wonderful weekend with friends and family.
Yesterday we did our usual Sunday-church, Dunkin’ Donuts and grocery shopping. There was also a lot of closet clean out too- it’s amazing how fast they grow out of things!
While it was still a little chilly here this weekend, I figured I could still take this dress for a spin. I would have loved to wear it with an adorable pair of sandals, but these sneakers and jacket were perfect for the frigid spring temperatures! This is the type of dress that could easily carry me well into the warmer spring and summer and is quite versatile!
Speaking of versatility, a reader reached out to me a few weeks ago requesting more work wear posts. While I don’t necessarily have to dress up for work, I know there are a lot of you that have to! I know how daunting it can be to have to have a “work” wardrobe and then a separate one for the evening/weekend. I was trying to think of the best way to approach this, since my style tends to be more on the casual side. I thought about doing a general workwear post, but then I thought just one post wouldn’t be helpful in the long run.
So! What I decided to do was take each outfit that I post on my blog, and share my usual photos of how I style it-most likely your weekend/girl’s night out/errand running outfit. In addition to that though, probably in a collage type format, I will share how to style it for work! When I was a teacher one thing I always looked for when shopping (and still do) was versatility. If it was something I couldn’t wear to work and outside of work, then I wouldn’t buy it!
Hopefully you all enjoy this new little format of my blog posts, and if there are any other requests, just let me know!
