Casual Date Night Outfit

Hope you all had a great weekend! Ours was pretty low key which was welcomed! We leave for Disney World on Thursday, I am home for a couple of days and then have a quick trip out to Seattle-literally there for less than 48 hours-the following weekend. Sooo with the next two weekends being crazy, it was nice to just relax.

I worked all day on Saturday and then we meal planned, decided to grocery shop (we typically use InstaCart and it is amazing, but Ryan wanted to see how much we saved, if any by shopping in store (no delivery fee or driver tip). I am not proud that I am an impatient person-I always have been. I try to work on it, I really do, but a lot of the time I let me impatience get the best of me! Let me just say, I was quickly reminded while grocery shopping why I love InstaCart so much! We ended up saving $9 by shopping in store-we stuck to our list exactly-but we think overall it ends up being even, mainly because we don’t/won’t always stick to our list when doing the shopping ourselves. Plus, the convenience of not having to actually¬†go¬†to the grocery store is worth it.

I wore this outfit (or a variation of it) yesterday for church and our post church Dunkin’ run. I kept it more on the casual side for that. I figured it would be fun to dress it up just to show a dressy yet casual option for date night. With Valentine’s Day coming up I thought it would be fun to style the sweater with that in mind! I know a lot of people like to go all out and celebrate for it! I loved pairing the sweater with my red booties (sold out-will link similar options below)-it’s perfect for Valentine’s Day! Tossing on my favorite moto jacket gave the feminine look a little bit of edge!
