Ahhhhh! I am so excited-I can’t even believe that launch day is finally here and you all are able to shop the International Women’s Day Collection. This has been such a wonderful experience for the start so I am beyond thrilled to finally be able to share with you all what we have been working on! It’s been so hard to not share the pieces so for you to be able to finally see them and shop them is a dream!
I’ll share my individual pieces first and then introduce you to each of the gals and their pieces in the collection-I know you are going to love them all! Just as a reminder, everything is offered in sizes XXSP-3XL!
When thinking of a top, I couldn’t dream up anything more perfect than this. Those of you that have followed me for a while (or know me personally), know that I love to wear things that I can actually function in. It’s funny because my best friend and I used to live by the phrase “fashion before function” and now that phrase is so foreign to me-HA!
I love being able to incorporate both function and comfort with style-this top encompasses all three of those qualities and I couldn’t be more excited for you to wear and style it! Even better, not only with my tops, but with the whole collection, is that it is available in XXSP-3X. I love that it comes in Plus!
Adorable, right? What’s your favorite color? This may be a basic choice but I love, love, love the black! So classic and will go with so much!
My other top-I don’t even know where to start with it! From the faux wrap style, to the scallop detail, it’s perfect! This particular style (the faux wrap) is a universally flattering style on all body types. I have seen it on everyone from a size XXS and beyond, it just looks amazing!
Tops that have little dainty details, whether it be a cinched sleeve, or something like a scallop edge is always something I can never say no to! Details like that take an otherwise basic top and take it up a notch.
I can’t say enough great things about all of the other ladies involved in this collection. We are all such a unique, diverse and fabulous group of women, and our individual collection pieces reflect those amazing qualities!
Here are the wonderful ladies, and a peek at their pieces, with direct links to shop them!
Chelsea’s Halter Neck Date Top (Plus version) is the cutest! I love how fun and flirty it is, but the high neckline makes it perfect to wear underneath something like a blazer to make it a little more work appropriate if need be. Besides the cute leopard it comes in two other colors as well!
Chelsea’s other top, the Square Neck Blouse (Plus version) is another every day top that can go from work to weekend and any and all you have in between! Pair it with a sleek pair of dress pants for work or a fun pair of distressed jeans and heels!
The Erin Cross Front Tunic Blouse (Plus version) is such a flattering top for all shapes and sizes! I love the high low cut of the hem-plus the overlap detail is equally as flattering! The bold floral print is perfect for spring-I love it with white denim! It also comes in another really pretty yellow floral print!
Erin’s other top, the the Ruched Sleeve Blouse (Plus version) is another great closet staple. This top is really great for layering. While it looks adorable on its own, I love how it looks under a cardigan or even a cute denim jacket!
One of the things I love about Hoang-Kim is that she has such a strong presence and the Eyelash Lace Top (Plus version) totally embodies that! The lace detail is such a stand out on this top, and it is so comfortable and flattering! Wear it with a pair of dress pants like Hoang-Kim is or dress it down with a pair of jeans!
The Lindsey Crochet Detail Babydoll Blouse (Plus version) is a favorite of mine. I am typically unsure about babydoll tops because I feel like they can be unflattering on my curvy shape, but I LOVE this top! The crochet hemline under the bust, along with the little pleats leaves it draping just right and is really flattering. Also, it would be great to wear now with layers and, because of it being sleeveless, wear well into the spring and summer months!
Lindsey’s Lace Yoke Split Neck Crepe Blouse (Plus version) is another great top that will carry you into the spring and summer, being that it is sleeveless. The detail in it is so adorable, and being that it comes in black and white it can easily be a closet staple that you can mix and match with pieces you already have in your closet!
Who can say no to a good, true wrap top? Flattering on all body types, this top is such a cute top for a date night! One thing I love about true wrap tops is that it allows them to be adjustable according to your size-you can tie it however tight or loose you need it!
The smocked waist makes it so comfortable-I love anything that has smocking detail, don’t you?! Besides this pretty floral print, it also comes in a perfect-for-spring lavender color. I love that both of them look great with white jeans, too-perfect for spring!
Ruthie’s Polka Dot Top-is it not just the cutest? I love the slight v-neck and the classic vibe of the navy and white polka dot combo!
I love the little cap sleeve too-I think that is so flattering! I am usually not one for anything extra on my sleeveless tops but I just love this-subtle, and the cut of it is super flattering! This is also another top that is great for layering. I picture wearing this with white jeans and a denim jacket!
I am partial to Ruthie’s other top, the Dot Tie Sleeve Blouse-it is the same material and texture of my Dot top, which I just adore, so it’s only fitting that I love her top too! The tie detail at the sleeve is so cute, and the colors are a pretty neutral!
Thamarr’s top (Plus version)may look like a basic top from the front, but it has an adorable tie detail in the back at the neckline-such an elevated basic! It is really comfortable and has a nice amount of stretch to it which I love! I also love that this kind of top can be easily incorporated into your existing wardrobe!
WHO I’M PARTNERING WITH AND WHY
If you recall, each of us involved in this collection were able to choose a charity or organization to partner with and make a donation to. I have partnered with the Movemeant Foundation.
I am so honored to be partnering with and creating an ongoing relationship with them. My journey to feeling great about myself and building self confidence has not been easy-it’s something that has been and even still continues to be a process. Movemeant is an amazing organization that empowers girls and women with opportunities and experiences to use physical movement as a way to build confidence and self worth. They create experiences for girls and women to realize just how extraordinary they are, instead of focusing on everything they think they aren’t.
Movemeant is an organization I feel truly passionate about-I encourage you to visit their website and get involved in any way you can.
Don’t forget to head over to instastories today and the rest of the weekend to see a try on of all of the amazing pieces! I went into detail with each of the styles to explain the fit to you and suggestions on how to style them!
Lastly, I can’t thank you all enough for the continued support. This opportunity and collection means so much to and I can’t thank you all enough!
