White denim is something I feel like a lot of women are scared of-they’re afraid they will show every nook and cranny, won’t look right on them, wont’ be flattering.
The key though, at least to me (and with pretty much everything you wear) is finding the right pair. It may take a little longer to try different brands and styles, and it may take a little bit more money, but if you feel great in them, then chances are you will wear them more often, and it will be worth it, right?
I have two pair of white denim that I wear and love, both for different reasons. I have a pair of Wit and Wisdom that I really like. They are super comfortable, durable, really flattering and have slight stretch to them which I love. My only complaint is that I wish they were a little bit thicker. I don’t feel like they are super see through (if they were I wouldn’t wear them), but I do wish they were a little more thick!
I am wearing the Wit and Wisdom here, size 14! Lindsey is wearing a Madewell High Rise Skinny.
One of my go-to, casual outfits is always a cardi and a tee or tank! While I think a lot of colors look great with white denim, I do love a classic black/gray/white combo! There is something so classic about it!
I am pretty partial to layering, so I love how this lightweight cardigan not only feels, but I love how it kind of pulls the whole look together. And no need to worry if you don’t have this color combo in your closet. This look can easily be created with any tee/cardigan combo you have!
I shared this outfit a few weeks ago when I did an Old Navy try on and it was one of my favorites! This top was an easy pairing with the white denim, and I love how the cognac mules sort of ties together everything!
As far as sizing, I am wearing a large in the top, so I would say it is true to size. Speaking of sizing, I ended up getting a 14 in the jeans and I sort of wish I would have stuck with the 12 (which is what I have in the black version of these). I feel like they felt differently than the black when I tried them on in store-like they weren’t as stretchy and a little stiffer, so I opted for the 14. After wearing them for a bit, I do wish I would have stuck with the 12!
I’ve loved this outfit combo forever and find myself wearing it year after year! There is something so classic about a button up chambray, and it can be styled so many different ways! If you don’t have a chambray in your closet I suggest adding one-it will stand the test of time (I wear them year round, year after year) and is so classic!
This top/jean combo, while so classic is also a complete blank slate! I love the metallic mules with it, but it would look super cute with a brighter shoe, fun jewelry, or a bold handbag. Because both top and bottom are so neutral, it’s easy to add bold color or bold prints to this!
How could I not include this top?! I absolutely adore this color combo together! I’ve long been a fan of coral and white together-it’s always reminded me of summer and the beach for some reason!
This Rebecca top from the Gibson International Women’s Day Colletion is a great piece for the spring and into the summer. The color is bold, looks great with white and is lightweight! The sizing is true-I am in the large and it fits well on me!
I do love the brown wedges with this, but I think gold shoes, or even gold accents in accessories would look amazing and tie the whole look together!
The blue with white is another color combo I am loving as of late, and I like the idea of dressing the look down with these slip on sneakers. Because of the style of the top, you could easily dress this up if need be with a pair of nude heels and fun jewelry!
To give a little finishing touch to the outfit, I tossed on my favorite denim jacket, just so you could see how the outfit would look layered-so cute, right?!
