Mommy in Heels: April Top Sellers

Can you even believe it’s May already?! It seems like New Year’s Day was just last week! Last month, I shared with you all the top sellers for March and you all seemed to love it-I personally enjoy it because it allows me to take a look at what is popular out of everything that I shared with you all!

Universal Thread Short Sleeve Chambray

I few weeks ago I styled a short sleeve chambray multiple ways for you all-although mine is old from last year, I found this super similar/almost identical one for you all, and you went nuts for it! It was the number one seller for the month of April!

It’s honestly no surprise though-it is such a classic, versatile, never-will-go-out-of-style piece for your closet!

High Rise Secret Slim Pocket Button Fly Rockstar

These jeans made the top ten for the second month in a row-not surprised at all! They are incredibly comfortable, super flattering and are not see through at all (I know that is a concern for a lot of you when trying/buying white denim).

I’ve shared this before and it still rings true (even at 13 wks pregnant), I suggest sizing down. I got the size 14 and wish I would have gotten the 12’s. They will stretch out, so keep that in mind when buying!

Leith Ruched Body-Con Tank Dress

I had a feeling this was going to be a top seller with you all. It is incredibly flattering on so many different body types and is so comfortable. I’ve had my eye on it for quite some time-it took having my baby bump grow to finally add it to my closet! Even though it isn’t a maternity dress, I feel like it should be (although it still looks fabulous) on those who don’t have a bump.

The ruched detail at the side is super flattering and just fits growing bump! Where sizing is concerned, I ended up with the XL in both the black and the blue. The XL fits be super well now, but I do feel like I could have probably sized up to the XXL to carry me further in my pregnancy!

Women’s High Rise Destructed Jeggings

These, along with my Madewell jeans, may be my most asked about jeans, ever! For being so affordable they have held up really well.

I did cut the hem of them to accommodate my height (I’m 5’4″)-they do come in short but they have been out of stock for what seems like forever. Since the hem was raw, I just figured I would cut them myself, and it worked out so well! I sized down to a 12 and they fit me perfectly. They have an insane amount of stretch to them, so there is plenty of wiggle room!

Women’s Short Sleeve V Neck Jumpsuit

I loved this jumpsuit so much that I got it in two colors! It’s so comfortable and perfect for those days where you want to be cozy (and not restricted with the feeling of a waistband lol) but still look put together!

I am wearing the XL in this, and although I feel like it fits well, I do think that I could possibly get away with wearing a large! But at this point, I am only going to be getting bigger and bigger, so the XL was the best decision! I was also surprised at the length-sometimes jumpsuits (along with maxi dresses) can be a hit or miss as far as length goes since I am not super tall but even with flats this hit me just right!

Everlane Wide Leg Crop Pant

Another great pair of pants that I’m so glad I tried! A lot of gals my shape/size tend to stay away from wide leg pants, but I think they look great on all shapes and sizes!

These particular wide leg crops are incredibly soft and almost mold to you! Per the reviews, I sized down to a 12. They were snug at first but wear really well! At 13 weeks, they are a tad snug on my so I unfortunately don’t get much wear out of them anymore! Despite not being able to wear them, I can’t recommend them enough!

Geo Dot Cap Sleeve Blouse

If there ever was a top that was 100% my style, it would be this! I love the easy breezy feel of the material, the cap sleeve is so flattering, and it can be really versatile too. What more could you want? I love it styled with a front tuck but it also looks cute knotted, too.

Pair it with jeans and sandals like me, or dress it up with a pair of white denim or dress pants for a dressier look! The sizing on this is pretty true-the large fits me well, even in the chest (which is where I seem to have the most problems with button up shirts).

Courier Button Back Shirt

I grabbed this top before I went to Disney in February and it was such a great purchase. It’s been a closet staple for me over the last many weeks-great for layering, an alternative to a classic white button up.

The sizing on this is quite true-the large fits well. It’s looser and drapes beautifully-perfect for a front tuck!

Notch Collar Cotton Blend Blazer

This is a recent add to my closet, and I really wish I would have gotten it sooner! The fit is so flattering, I love the notched collar-a nice variation of your standard collar. Plus, it has stretch to it, which makes it so much more comfortable.

I wasn’t sure whether or not to get the large or XL, but I ended up with the large and it fits perfectly! It really is a classic, versatile piece that can take you from day to night!

Women’s Sleeveless Midi Dress

As soon as I became pregnant, it’s like I became instantly bloated and anything but flowy dresses fit me. I saw this dress online first, and was so relieved to see it was in my Target. I grabbed it in both the striped and the red! I have worn them both multiple times already-they are just really comfortable!

I did end up getting the XL in both of them-there really isn’t much stretch to them at all so I wanted to make sure they fit well in the straps/chest area.

I can’t wait to see what your favorites will be this month! With the amount of flowy dresses I’ve continued to add to my wardrobe, I am guessing it will be a lot of dresses!
