It’s so funny how different each of my pregnancies have been-you think they are all going to be the same (Ella’s and Charlotte’s were pretty close to being the same, but different) but they ultimately aren’t!
One thing that I am doing so differently this time around is not buying ton of maternity clothes. With Ella and Charlotte I feel like the second I found out I was pregnant I was buying anything and everything maternity! It was great, and the pieces were cute but I feel like I went unnecessarily overboard! This time around, I am keeping my maternity clothes buying to a minimum. Instead, I am focusing on non maternity clothes that flatter my bump, and that I can wear post bump as well!
This adorable dress I fell in love with a few weeks ago in store-I tend to gravitate towards anything in the mustard family. It’s just a color that I feel like I wear well and is somewhat of a neutral (to me, at least!).
I am wearing the large and it does fit well. The XL laid a little weird on me, perhaps because of my baby bump, but it just didn’t flatter my at all. While the large does fit me well, I don’t feel like it will take me all the way to the end of my pregnancy, unfortunately. It doesn’t have much stretch to it other than the smocking on the back (which I love when dresses have that feature-I feel like it makes them fit so much better). It also comes in a really pretty rose color, too!
I rounded up some of my other favorite non-maternity, bump friendly dresses that flatter all body types! Some of them I own, some friends own, and some I want to own-haha! Be sure to shop at the bottom of the post!
