Occasion Dresses for the Season: Graduations, Showers, Weddings
Occasion season is in full swing. Bridal showers, weddings, graduations, graduation parties, school events. It seems everyone has some sort of event just about every weekend that require something a little dressier than the usual day to day wear.
When I shop for dresses for any of these events I like to find something that can be worn for multiple times. If I can’t wear it for more than just the event I don’t want it!
I have a few that I’ve already worn and love but I’ve rounded up a few other options that can be great options for the busy season ahead!

One of my favorite dress styles is this flowy kaftan dress from H&M. I have variations of this dress from over the last several years. The style is perfect as it’s incredibly comfortable but so gorgeous and stylish. It’s always available in different prints and colors so there is always a variety to choose from.
I am wearing a small, and could probably have worn an XS. I am not even close to an XS but the sizing in this particular dress runs really large!

I had this dress in my cart for the longest time and have every intention of wearing it for Ella’s graduation. But the more I thought about it, the more I realized that I didn’t want to wear a short dress on bleachers for several hours. As much as I love it I know it isn’t meant for that occasion!
I am most definitely still keeping it though because it is just too perfect! It has stretch to it, smocked detail in the back. I am wearing a medium and it fits perfectly!

I can’t say enough good things about this dress. Besides the comfort factor, it has padding in the bust (that’s removable) so you can go bra-less if you want. I was hesitant at first because at this point in my life I really can’t not wear one, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at how well it fit and supported me!
I am in the medium petite-fits like a dream on my 5’4” frame!
