Weekend Wear as a Middle Aged Mom Who Favors Comfort Without Sacrificing Style
I honestly can’t bring myself to wear anything that doesn’t give me comfort. I used to live by the fashion motto “fashion before function” which to me is laughable because at this point in my life you couldn’t pay my to live by that. Ok maybe you could pay me lol. But really, if it’s not comfortable I don’t want to wear it!
Over the weekend I reached for elastic waist pants, keeping my outfits comfortable and functional without sacrificing style.

Let’s skip past the Hatchimal’s on the floor and the kitchen table in the living room (it’s getting moved lol), this outfit was perfect for our lowkey Saturday. It was a day spent taking care of things around the house and then venturing out for Cece to spend some of her money so comfort was paramount (as it always seems to be for me).
These pants have been around for a while, and although I love them and wear them a bunch I am reminded every time I put them on that I wish I would have gotten a medium instead of a small. They fit just fine but I would love for them to be just a smidge looser. I would suggest sizing up if you end up grabbing them.

This is another easy, comfortable outfit I would wear on repeat. I love the style of these sweatpants…Slightly oversized but still have a little shape to them. I am wearing the small-they’re offered in several colors as well! Incredibly soft, they almost feel like second skin.
This hoodie has a lived in look and feel to it, one that drew me to it even more. It gives off the vibe of your tried and true hoodie that you’ve worn over and over again. Like the sweatpants, it comes in a bunch of different colors.
