Letβs Chat Transition Pieces: Four Wardrobe Pieces That Will Take You from Summer to Fall
Itβs been a while, hasnβt it? This summer was a lot, with all the girls home, summer camps, swim team, getting Ella ready for college. Now that everyone is back to school I am able to get back into the swing of things!
Before we know it (hopefully) the temps will drop. I personally am over the heat and ready to retire my sandals and swimsuits until next year. With that in mind, I wanted to share some of my wardrobe pieces that I will be carrying into the fall season.

This dress has become a favorite of mine this year. Easy to just toss on and go, doesnβt feel overwhelming and can be styled so many different ways. One of the things I love about this dress though (besides not having to wear a bra with it) is that it can be easily carried into the colder months.
For me, itβs as easy as swapping the sandals for sneakers and tossing on a sweater, blazer, or denim jacket.
I cannot say enough good things about this tank top. I have had it for a few years, and in so many colors. I would say itβs true to size, but I do have it in varying sizes and where whichever depending on the fit I am looking for.
I have worn it so many times on itβs own but Iβve found itβs perfect for layering, whether under an open cardigan or sweater.
Itβs offered in a variety of colors and is just under $15!

I was surprised at how much I loved these pants this summer. I really leaned into all things with an elastic waist and these made the cut. Like a lot of my wardrobe, when I like something and wear it a bunch I end up getting it in a few colors if I know I will continue wearing it.
I have these in this gorgeous burnt orange, a lighter beige (not sure about that color for the winter when I donβt have a tan) and of course black.
Like my black dress, I plan on swapping the sandals for sneakers and layering more with it-a simple and easy way to transition the pants from summer to fall/winter.
One of my favorite ways to wear a midi or maxi skirt is with sneakers or boots. I think there is something about that combo that looks so effortless but still put together.
An easy way to wear them in the summer is just with a basic tee or tank (the tank is my other summer to fall favorite I shared above) and sandals but I love to get creative with it when it starts to get chilly!
This particular skirt I have in two colors-this pretty light blue and a gorgeous green! Iβd say itβs true to size but if you are in between I suggest sizing up.
