Minimal Makeup for a Pool Day

There are most definitely pool days where I don’t wear anything other than SPF, but I am also not one to shy away from wearing a bit from time to time. I don’t necessarily wear a full face, mainly because I don’t find it comfortable, but I will give myself a bit of coverage!

Regardless of my plans for the day, SPF is always in the routine. I love La Roche Posay’s moisturizer with SPF 30. It leaves my skin feeling great while protecting my skin.

To give me some color and just maybe (hopefully) hide some of my imperfections I’ll mix the moisturizer with this liquid bronzer. It gives me just enough glow and blends so well. I typically use it year round, it’s that good! Plus, its under $15! I love a good, affordable makeup!

Under Eye Illuminating cream is usually what I use in place of concealer. It does the trick and a little goes a long way. If I feel like I need a little extra coverage I will use just a dab of my Huda concealer! Some days just require a little more to make me look well rested lol!

Like I said, I try to keep it pretty simple and minimal. I will wear a little mascara (not usually as much as I would on a typical day) and it is most definitely not waterproof-I chance it haha! I truly loathe waterproof mascara so I avoid it at all costs!

One last quick mention, my lips can get super sensitive when I’m out in the sun for extended periods of time so I always make sure I have chapstick with SPF! Can’t neglect the lips!
