Recent Outfits I’ve Worn as a 44 Year Old Mom
Comfort is key when it comes to getting dressed every day. Some days I don’t even leave the house but I try and force myself to get dressed and ready because it makes me feel more productive (I know a lot of you can relate). The days I do leave the house it’s typically to work from a coffee shop or run to the grocery store. Even though I am not out and about doing all of the things I still want to look out together without sacrificing comfort!
I’ve found some outfit formulas that work for me that are worth sharing-they embody both style and comfort!

I love a monochromatic moment. Brown is one of my favorite colors to wear so this look was a no brainer. What I love about it is the pants and their comfort level. They are technically considered ‘active’ and they can totally be worn to do light workouts, but I prefer to wear them to lounge or out and about. I think the key to making this look like a completed and intentional outfit is accessorizing.
Tossing on the cardigan in the same color family along with some jewelry really ties the whole look together-I love it!

It’s funny how tastes and styles change over the years. I used to love to wear all things fitted, now I crave things that are oversized and cozy.
Like my monochromatic brown look, this particular outfit is all about the finishing touches. The striped button up on it’s own is a great staple to have in your closet, but it’s adding the trench and the bright scarf that transforms it from an outfit to a look.

Another oversized button up that I reach for often is this chambray. I have had it for years and have worn it so many ways from a swim coverup to dressier versions. It truly is a “does it all” piece to have in your closet.
