College Purchases So Far for Our High School Senior
It feels so weird to be at this stage of life where we have a high school senior heading to college in the fall. Things have changed so much since I was in college (I graduated in 2004) so this is a whole new world for Ryan and I as far as preparing Ella to move into her dorm.
I am trying to spread out our purchases so we don’t have to put a huge dent in our wallet all at once. I mean it still is expensive but it feels less harsh when it’s not all at once haha. That’s my rationale.

This is a trial and error process in regard to what she will actually need and what she won’t. I am sure there are things we’ve gotten that she won’t end up needing or using, just as I am sure there will be things we didn’t get that she will need.
These giant moving bags are actually great to be used for so many things other than just moving. We have had them in blue for a while and have used them for travel (by car, obvi) and other random times we’ve needed a large bag. I’ve been told by many that they are great for college moving!
Bed risers are a no brainer. That will obviously give her more storage under her bed-it’s such an easy, inexpensive way to maximize space.
A tool set isn’t the most fun purchase, but a necessity. You never know when you are going to need something-it’s good to have something on hand.
Our list is ongoing and ever changing but I feel like we have somewhat of a good start, or at least that’s what I’m telling myself!
