Sephora Sale Picks as a 44 Year Old Mom

The Sephora Beauty Insiders Sale is in full swing and it can seem overwhelming-what to try, what to avoid, what is worth it or not. From skincare to makeup, to haircare there are so many things to choose from!

I am no expert by any means but through an avid interest and a lot of trial and error over the years I have curated a pretty decent list of things that I think are worth adding to your daily skincare and makeup routine!

These are my daily, tried and true makeup items. Ones that no matter what I always go back to. I play around with makeup a lot, trying new things or brands out of curiosity but it never fails-I always seem to go back to these. There’s a reason I do-they are that good!

Grande Cosmetics has changed my lashes for the better over the last couple of years-like they are so so good. The lash serum alone does wonders for me, but adding the mascara has been even better. The combination of the two (along with their lash conditioner, available on their website) makes my lashes look the best they ever have. I always have people asking me if my lashes are real-they are!

If you want to take your lashes up a notch even more I highly suggest their heated lash curler as well. I have had mine for a little over four years (FOUR!!) and it still works wonderfully.

I can’t recommend enough-my lashes are the best they’ve ever been! They are all worth the buy!

Moving onto lips, I have this Charlotte Tilbury lipliner for quite some time but recently added this Sheer Lip Tint (also in the shade Pillow Talk). They pair so well together and is the perfect, every day neutral.

Rare Beauty is another favorite of mine, a go-to brand I know will always deliver. The blush, highlighter and contour are my most favorite items-I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve repurchased.

The blush is so pigmented- a little goes a long long way which makes it last! My favorite shades are Joy and Resilience. The wear and tear throughout the day is also unmatched!

The highlighter is also something that I have purchased over and over. Wears well, giving the most subtle highlight and it comes in several shades.

The Rare Beauty Bronzer Stick is a quick-to-apply contour that blends really well and gives you the subtle but impactful contour you’re looking for! This has been my favorite for the past several years!

All of these are worth every penny and something worth trying, especially when they are included in the sale.

shop refills

Ok so the one item is a first time purchase but everything else in my cart is a refill. The girls and I have been loyal Supergoop users for the past several years. Gently, effective and just overall a brand we love!

I use and love Huda’s concealer and so I am giving this blush a try. I feel like it will be pretty similar to the Rate Beauty blush I love so much-here’s to hoping!

The Laneige is either a love it or hate it, I feel. I believe I am on my third or fourth container-Gummy Bear is my favorite one! I have it sitting on my nightstand and wear it to bed every night!

Ole Henricksen knows how to do under eye brightening. My best friend got me into this combo and I love it!

Another favorite is the shower oil-I got it at a Favorite Things Party over the holidays and have since repurchased and grabbed a travel size! I use it after I wash my body!
